Sheffield, MA

Sheffield, MA was incorporated as a town in 1733, and for the first half of the nineteenth century it was the largest in Berkshire County except for Pittsfield. It is a picturesque New England town that has a combination of wide open river valley, mountain views and beautiful active farmland. Today, much of Sheffield remains based in agriculture due to the abundance of rich soil. There are many wonderful antique shops to browse and of course beautiful scenery to behold in Sheffield, MA.
